Life Never Stops Moving
This isn’t Disneyland.
You can’t turn off the ride if you get hurt or scared. The water always keeps moving.
Even when you’re sitting alone in a room reading a book — life is still rushing along around you. If you aren’t enjoying yourself, well… maybe you should enjoy your own life (even the hard parts).
Maybe you should stop reading about making money and go do the first thing you think of (even if you completely fuck up).
The current isn’t stopping — so let’s have a good time.
Self-help Cycle
Reading self-help is a microcosm of life — you get a “rush” from reading about how to get more successful. The rush becomes the thing-in-itself. You start looking for the rush above anything.
