Shawn, this is crazy--I'm from East Feliciana. My dad was the post master of Jackson. I assume you lived in St. Francisville? My first girlfriend lived there.

As for navigating Christmas--it's not always perfect, but my family loves a good laugh. We usually just make fun of each other and that tends to keep things cool. Sometimes it gets heated but we always end on a nice note.
