There are very few creationist Christians who believe the world is 6k years old. It's a narrative, not a scientific text.

Like I already said, I know people have done great and interesting things through all of history. This is not a put down on anyone. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying that no one was a scientist before there was the scientific method, obviously. Just like there were no software engineers before there was software.
