This is called the Matthew Effect and it’s not just Medium or capitalism— it’s a law of statistical distribution. You see it in solar systems (sun has 99% of total mass), cities (most people live in very few cities), AND wealth, views, etc.

Medium does as well as any system I’ve seen to curb the effect. We are lucky!
