People who can’t get good (or Great) are the ones who will conclude one of two things:
- It’s my lack of talent
- It’s my mindset
Those who believe one are doomed.
Those who believe two are on a life-long adventure.
The Rich Girls in ‘King Richard’
When the rich girls in the movie King Richard lose, they say, “I suck!” They break their tennis rackets on the court. The movie makes a point of contrasting their reaction (and their parents scolding them) with Serena and Venus.
They know all the rules. They have the best equipment. They have coaches. Why can’t they win?
Richard says to his daughters Serena and Venus, “Just have fun girls.”
